The weather has been up and down, but the fishing has been steady, over the last two weeks the hot fishing spots have not changed to much. The best spots include the three reefs in Saginaw, main depth between 35-40 feet.
Another great spot to try are the Fox Islands, which are a little bit North West of the Brule, still a ways up the lake but definitely worth the trip. Most of the fish getting pulled up between these two locations are big, and there's plenty of them.
Try using a green or red Vegas jig made from Northland Fishing Tackle with a shiner, a Lindy Rig with a Leech, or a RLOS classic white sparkle spinner. All are doing great!
For those who don't want to or can't travel as far up the lake try going to Ranier next to the bridge. Where there is current there will be fish. Be careful, because sometimes the current is way to strong.
Keep fishing.
Stop in and say HI!
