Warmer weather, passing storms, and a great chance to get fishing! Current weather temperatures have been in the 80's and sunny but we have had some passing storms which believe it or not has been great for fishing. Activity keeps the fish moving.
Great fishing spots have been on the East side of the lake. In the Brule Narrows the best spot is to stay right around the south eastern side of marker 28, otherwise swing around the southern side of soldier point. Run the shore- it will go from 11-8 feet. Farther up the lake is even better. Enter into Hitchcock into the Kempton channel- best place for walleyes is the drop off from 20-26 feet.
Otherwise if you don't want to go to the east end of the lake, try going on the southern side of the Review Islands which is underneath Jackfish Island.
Most pople are bringing out shiners and large leeches, but if live bait isn't a idea for you, try a reed runner (black, red, or green) otherwise a large Rapala (blue).
Keep Fishing
